Cavs players help serve Thanksgiving dinners, turkey

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert and his fiance Teyana Taylor helped served two hundred Cleveland-area families by handing out turkeys and a bag of fixings to 200 pre-selected families on Friday at Glenville Recreation Center.
Cavs legends are also in the helping spirit, on Sunday, Austin Carr, Jim Chones, Larry Nance and Campy Russell will be at the Broadway location of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland on Sunday to hand out turkeys to preselected families. Each family will receive a turkey and a bag of side dishes and dessert.
The 2015 Cavaliers Season of giving officially kicked off on Wednesday when several players, coaches and staff served traditional Thanksgiving dinner to 250 people from Cleveland Metropolitan School District's Project ACT.
