Woman ID'd in fatal I-90 Christmas Eve crash

MENTOR, OH (WOIO) - A 47-year-old woman was struck and killed by a semi-tractor trailer on I-90 in Mentor on December 24, 2015 after pulling off to the side of the road has been identified.

Mentor police say Deana C. Poghen of Concord Township, was killed when she got out of her car for some unknown reason.

The accident happened at 10:35 a.m and shut-down westbound traffic for 4-and-a-half hours as officials investigated.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was identified as Michelle Bouman, 47, of Columbia Station. She was not injured.

This incident remains under investigation.

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
