CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - When the Cleveland Browns named Hue Jackson as the head coach, they named their 16th full-time head coach, their eighth since their return in 1999.
Jackson comes over from Cincinnati where he served as the Bengals offensive coordinator the last two season.
Senior Media Broadcaster, Nathan Zegura sat down with the new head coach for a 1-on-1.
"Their vision, their passion, the fans, everything that we talked about the organization and the process we wanted to go through, to get this team back to where we felt it needed to be, it fit me to a T. I thought it was the right fit for me," Jackson said when asked what made him choose the Cleveland Browns.

Jackson was asked about quarterback Johnny Manziel and the rumors that he did not want him here, " I don't know where those reports came from first and foremost. What I'm going to do is evaluate everybody on this team. When I walked into this building, for the most part everyone started with a clean slate. I need to find out exactly who they are, what they are and how do they fit us moving forward," Jackson replied.
Jackson is currently in the process of building a team around him to be successful, he started that by retaining special teams coordinator Chris Tabor on Friday.
