CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Cavaliers got embarrassed on their home court, losing to the Golden State Warriors 132-98. The Warriors are now 2-0 against the Cavs in the 2015-16 season.
Warriors guard Stephen Curry led the game with 35 points and shot seven for 12 from three point land. Andre Iguodala added 20 points off the bench. The Warriors shot 48% from behind the 3-point arch.
When the Cavs were down 70-46 at halftime, no one thought it could have been worse. The second half would prove that to be wrong, the starters on both teams were benched when the Warriors were up 43 in the fourth quarter.
J.R. Smith led the Cavs with 14 points until getting ejected from the game on a flagrant II foul. LeBron James finished the game with 16 points.
The Cavs never led at any point in the game.
The Cavaliers head to Brooklyn to take on the Nets on Wednesday. The Cavs will have a four game home-stand following the Nets game.
