CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland police says a pedestrian was severely injured in a crash Tuesday on Fulton Road and Clark Avenue.

The initial report reveals the victim, Tina Lowe, 31, was crossing Fulton Road within the crosswalk when a maroon Chrysler LHS traveled from Clark, turned onto Fulton and struck the victim. The driver then pulled into the Marathon gas station and, while hiding behind a dark SUV, observed the scene briefly and then drove away.

Lowe was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The license plate of the suspect's vehicle was snow covered.

The suspect/driver is described as a white female with light hair. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the driver is asked to contact investigators at 216-623-5290.
