SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Police say they are on the hunt for two wild dogs in the area.
Around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Kenmore and Van Aken for a severely injured deer. When officers arrived, the dogs were surrounding the deer. The officer shot and killed the deer and shined a flashlight at the dogs, who took off.
A woman on her way to work, just before 8 a.m., called police about three aggressive dogs in the 3000 block of Ingleside. When officers arrived, one dog started approaching the officer in an aggressive manner.
The officer shot and killed that dog and the other two took off running. No word on what breeds the dogs are.
