CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A sighting of a homicide suspect led officers to a dead end.

Police believed homicide suspect Donnell Lindsey was spotted on the city's east side. Officers were in the area of East 105th and Union around 12:45 p.m.

It turned out not to be Lindsey.

Lindsey is wanted for the Sept. 2015 fatal drive-by shooting of 3-year-old Major Howard. The toddler was shot while in a car on East 113th.

Suspect Aaron Dunnings was arrested earlier this month and charged with aggravated murder. Dunnings is being held on a $1.5 million bond.

Earlier this week, shots were fired at the home of Major's grandfather.

There is a $5,000 reward for information directly leading to his arrest.
