CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Investigators say they have found the Chrysler involved in a hit skip at Fulton and Clark on January 19. Police towed the vehicle to one of their lots. Officers are also interviewing a person of interest.
Cleveland police says a pedestrian was severely injured in a crash Tuesday on Fulton Road and Clark Avenue.
Police said Tina Lowe, 31, was crossing Fulton Road within the crosswalk when a maroon Chrysler LHS traveled from Clark, turned onto Fulton and struck the victim. The driver then pulled into the Marathon gas station and, while hiding behind a dark SUV, observed the scene briefly and then drove away.
Lowe was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The license plate of the suspect's vehicle was snow covered.
