WESTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - A contract vote for Westlake Support Staff passes 94-39 Tuesday's Westlake School Board meeting.
Members of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees, or OAPSE, have been working without a contract since the start of the school year. This latest deal includes a small pay increase but insurance for spouses will go up.
New Westlake support staff contract is 3 years, including small pay increase and increase in insurance costs for spouses.
Teachers are negotiating a new contract as well. They're expected to be back at the bargaining table Wednesday.
