CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland police believe they have the person who carjacked a 67-year-old woman and ran her over with her own car.

It happened Tuesday morning at 3100 Clinton on the city's west side.

Police say the suspect, 20, first stole a bicycle from Marsha Pressman's yard.

Pressman, who was walking her dog, saw the suspect so she jumped in her car to go after him.

After cutting him off with her car, the suspect got off the bike, opened the car door, dragged Pressman from the vehicle and began punching her. The suspect then got into Pressman's car, backed into her and drove away.

He eventually crashed Pressman's red Hyundai into a tree at W. 32nd and Franklin.

He took off on foot but officers found him and took him into custody.

Pressman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She was released Tuesday evening.

Charges against the suspect are pending.
