Power restored after large power outage in Lake County

LAKE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - Power in Lake County has been restored.

The outage happened around 9:30 p.m.

Most of the outages were in Mentor, Concord Township, and Painesville Township.

FirstEnergy Spokesman Chris Eck said that there was an equipment failure that took two high-voltage lines out of service. At the height of the outage, 46,000 people were without power.
