CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

According to a police report out of Fort Worth, Texas, Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend but was not arrested.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday, January 30.

According to the report involving Manziel, officers were called to The Berkeley Apartments at 2102 Park Hill Drive for a possible assault.

When officers arrived they were unable to locate the caller, but did make contact with a 23-year-old woman who stated that she was involved in a disturbance with her ex-boyfriend, Manziel, earlier in the evening in Dallas.

The preliminary investigation came to the conclusion that a possible assault had occurred in that jurisdiction or multiple jurisdictions.

The woman was uncooperative and they were unable to locate a crime scene within the Fort Worth jurisdiction, however, officers prepared the report nonetheless, and the information was forwarded to detectives for further investigation.

The Dallas Police Department was notified of a possible disturbance.

After the women expressed concern for the well-being of Manziel, officers tried to reach him by calling his cell phone and checking locations within their jurisdiction.

They searched the area with the help of their Air One Unit.

Later on, officers learned that Manziel was safe and in no danger.

The Fort Worth Police Department says they are actively working with Dallas PD to determine if a criminal offense occurred.

On November 17, 2015, the NFL said they will not discipline Manziel after a roadside incident with his girlfriend on October 12.

Manziel started in six games, winning two of them. In the six games, Manziel threw for 1,500 yards and seven touchdowns, and adding five interceptions. He missed the season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers, due to a concussion.
