Overdoses at Rootstown High School lead to three arrests

ROOTSTOWN, OH (WOIO) -

Three men were arrested after two overdoses at Rootstown High School. 

The Portage County Drug Task Force arrested Tarren R. Lowell, 19, Madison Schlagel, 18, and Jason L. Sadler, 18.

Police say they found a large amount of money, assault rifle, marijuana and shipping boxes at Lowell's S.R. 44 home. He was charged with trafficking in drugs in the vicinity of a school and possession of criminal tools.

Schlagel and Sadler were arrested by the Task Force at Rootstown High School. Both are charged with two counts of corrupting another with drugs. 

The Task Force investigation is part of an attempt to locate the source of several pounds of marijuana being shipped from California.
