CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - It turns out, Von Miller doesn't just take quarterbacks down, he picks them up. Especially fellow Texas A&M Aggies, like Johnny Manziel, who can use all the help he can get right now.
The Super Bowl MVP sent this message to Manziel via Instagram following the Broncos' win on Sunday night:
Miller's not alone. Other athletes have reached out publicly to the troubled Browns quarterback, most pleading for him to seek help. And true, Miller dealt with issues of his own in 2013, serving a six-game suspension for trying to cheat a drug test. But that pales in comparison to the charges that Manziel is facing.
The details from Manziel's ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley's affidavit that were released on Monday paint an ugly, violent picture of what went on between the two on January 30. Manziel is now facing serious legal issues, in addition to the six-game suspension that could be handed down by the NFL for a first-time offender of the league's domestic violence policy.
Manziel has his supporters, many of them from the football world. But his football career, and the threat of losing it, is the least of Johnny's problems right now.
