CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A stolen vehicle Monday night has been recovered.

The suspect remains on the loose.

Police say a man left his 3-year-old niece inside a running SUV at the Shell gas station at East 30th Street and Carnegie Avenue around 8 p.m.

About ten minutes after the car was taken, the child was found in the area of Broadway and Morton walking in the street alone, police said.

According to the police, the child's uncle, Frederick Grair, went into the gas station to pay for gas and left the child in the car and keys in ignition. The child's uncle has been arrested and charged with child endangering and driving under suspension.
