CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Ohio governor John Kasich vows to keep on moving in his race for the White House.
Gov. Kasich placed second In Tuesday's Republican primary in New Hampshire. Donald Trump dominated the field, winning 35% of the vote.
Kasich has been asked about his largely positive message in a race that has been negative at times. Kasich says he will fight back if attacked.
I'm not going to take a pounding. I'm not a pin cushion or a marshmallow," said Kasich.
Kasich took his message to South Carolina Wednesday.
The Republican presidential hopeful is holding a town hall meeting at Finn's Brick Oven in Mount Pleasant. Later in the day, he's participating in a veterans jobs event in downtown Charleston.
He's also slated to tour Nucor Steel's facility in Huger and participate in a town hall meeting with employees.
On Thursday, the governor is holding town hall meetings in Georgetown, North Myrtle Beach and Florence.
