CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland police say the death of a three-year-old has been ruled a homicide.
Initially investigators ruled the little girl died of cardiac arrest after family members reported that the child has a seizure disorder and she experienced a seizure on Feb. 10 and was later found unresponsive.
Dashauna Watkins was pronounced dead at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.
The police now say they found bruising on the toddler.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the little girl's cause of death.
The child's mother, Danielle Johnson, 23 has been arrested.
