Lorain police say an 84-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle and hit a man and two parked cars at Mercy Regional Medical Center

The initial report reveals at 11:34 a.m. a 2001 Subaru Forester was heading eastbound through the patient entrance area when it lost control, accelerated and went up onto the sidewalk and struck a man walking.

The victim, 71-year-old Fearl Fleming or Amherst, was taken to Mercy with "incapacitating injuries."

The car kept going and sideswiped a 2011 Ford Taurus then collided with a parked 2003 Buick Century.

The Subaru then went left, struck a sign and finally stopped in a flower bed.
