AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A Summit County mother convicted of running one of the largest meth labs in Akron's history was sentenced to three years in prison Tuesday.
Amanda Wilcox plead guilty in January to the assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and three counts of child endangering .
In September of 2015, Akron Police Officers responded to a suspected meth lab on Congo Street.
Inside they found 100 2-liter bottles of chemicals used to manufacture meth, as well as an active meth lab. Wilcox lived at the home along with Jeffrey Fowler and their three children, ages one, five, and eight.
Fowler plead guilty to illegal manufacture of drugs and three counts of child endangering. He'll be sentenced March 8.
The children have been placed with Summit County Children Services.
