COLUMBUS, OH (WOIO) - The Ohio Supreme Court has agreed to hear the Anthony Sowell case this spring.
His attorneys say the serial killer's conviction and death sentence should be over-turned because the pre-trial attention denied him a fair trial.
Sowell was convicted in 2011 of murdering 11 women. Their bodies were found in and around his Imperial Avenue home. He was also found guilty of raping several women, who survived.
