Windy night causes power outages across northeast Ohio

NORTHEAST OHIO (WOIO) -

Thousands were without power late Friday night into Saturday morning, due to high winds, which knocked down trees and wires. 

First Energy crews are still working to get power restored to all customers. The latest time of restoration, according to First Energy's power outage map, is noon on Sunday.

As of 11 p.m., only 283 customers remain affected:

- 20 in Ashtabula County

- 202 in Cuyahoga County

- 16 in Geauga County

- 16 in Lake County
