CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A 2003 grey Dodge Caravan and wheelchair were found abandoned Monday on East 123rd in Cleveland.

The van was stolen from Rainbow Terrace Apartments. The owner, Michael Wanzo said the wheelchair inside the van is for his 10-year-old son Lamar, who has cerebral palsy.

He made a plea for the thieves to return the wheelchair

The wheelchair was not damaged.

Cleveland police say the driver's window of the van was busted and the catalytic converter was stolen.

No suspects have been identified.
