CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A 23-year-old Cleveland mother has been indicted for the murder of her 3-year-old daughter, Dashauna Watkins.
Danielle Johnson, 23 was indicted Friday for aggravated murder, felonious assault, endangering children and domestic violence.
Watkins was pronounced dead at Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital on February 10.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's ruled the girl's death a homicide, after an autopsy revealed the child "had sustained physical trauma resulting in internal injuries causing bleeding and died as result."
Johnson is scheduled to be in court February 24.
