GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) - A trial is underway for a northeast Ohio man who pleaded not guilty to charges he hit and killed two bicyclists with his pickup truck and injured three others.
Prosecutors in Garfield Heights said Monday that Timothy Wolf shouldn't have turned left if he was blinded by the sun.
Wolf is accused of hitting five bicyclists last fall in Brecksville.
Matthew Billings, 33, of North Canton, died at the scene. Jim Lambert, 52, of Cuyahoga Falls, died from his injuries more than a week later.
Wolf faces charges including vehicular homicide and willful or wanton disregard of public safety.
Defense attorneys for the Brecksville man say the crash was unintentional and that Wolf slowed down and looked before turning.
