CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A 23-year-old Cleveland mother has been indicted for the murder of her 3-year-old daughter, Dashauna Watkins.
Danielle Johnson, 23 was indicted Friday for aggravated murder, felonious assault, endangering children and domestic violence.
Johnson appeared in a Cleveland courtroom Wednesday. She pleaded not guilty and was placed on a $1 million bond. Her next court appearance will be March 2.
Johnson's daughter was pronounced dead at Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital on Feb. 10.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's ruled the girl's death a homicide, after an autopsy revealed the child "had sustained physical trauma resulting in internal injuries causing bleeding and died as result."
