CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland's Police Chief Calvin Williams will face questioning from city council members Wednesday as the annual budget hearings continue.
Topics are likely to include the costs incurred by the consent decree the city signed with the Justice Department to settle a federal lawsuit.
Councilman Zack Reed has promised to question the Chief on the cost of training the current police cadet class in Columbus rather than Cleveland.
He attempted to question Safety Director Michael McGrath about the issue on Tuesday, but was told by Budget Committee Chairman Matthew Zone that the
questions should be directed to the Chief.
