LeBron James says he feels ten times better physically this season than he did a year ago at this point. On Wednesday night, he looked it, racking up 23 points in 30 minutes as the Cavaliers easily controlled the Charlotte Hornets, 114-103 at Quicken Loans Arena.
Kyrie Irving also added 23 points as the Cavs built up a double-digit lead in the second quarter and never looked back.
J.R. Smith added 16 points, but maybe most impressive was Channing Frye's 15 points off the bench, including four three-pointers. Frye, acquired from the Orlando Magic at the trade deadline last week specifically for his ability to knock down three-pointers, gave the Cavs exactly what they were looking for.
The Cavs (41-15) return to action Friday night in Toronto.
