All lanes of I-480 back open after jack-knifed semi, driver hospitalized

TWINSBURG, OH (WOIO) - A truck driver was trapped in his semi for an hour-and-a-half after his semi jack-knifed on Interstate 480 E.

Police say the driver lost control and flipped the vehicle on its side around 8 a.m.

The accident, near Old Mills Road Bridge, caused a more than three-hour traffic back-up.

EMS transported the driver to a local hospital. His name and injuries are unknown.

All lanes have since reopened.
