CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - This weekend, Comic Con will be just shy of $500,000 in economic impact for the city of Cleveland.
On Thursday night at the Hard Rock Cafe, actor Jason Mewes told fans about his new projects.
"It's either going to be moose jaws or mall rats. Not sure yet. We will have to wait and see," he said.
Mewes was part of the Comic Con kick off party, along with other TV stars that will make appearances this weekend in Cleveland.
Chris Hemsworth will be signing autographs on Saturday. It's a return for Thor to Cleveland since he filmed "Avengers" here in northeast Ohio years earlier.
"CHiPS" star Larry Wilcox, who's still acting, will be there and Cleveland 19 discovered Wilcox is also a serious businessman working on several projects, including moving into the automobile business with new technology.
"We are the panacea, if you will, for Volkswagen, tractors and cars. If you go to somebody and say, 'Would you like to save money on fuel?' We are the solution," said Wilcox.
"CHiPS" airs on MeTV weeknights at 5 p.m. Wilcox just wrapped a new movie called "94 FEET."
"It's about the miners who got trapped in the mine 94 feet down. It's a tribute to their lives and their loss of lives," explained Wilcox.
More than 300 rooms have already been booked in downtown Cleveland for the three-day event. Find everything you need to know about the event here.
