Suspects flee after pistol whipping, shooting man

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police responded to a shooting at 15509 Glencoe, where a male was shot at approximately 9:00 P.M. on Thursday night.

Police located the victim who had gunshot wounds to his neck and abdomen.

The victim reported he was walking to the Glencoe address from the corner store when two black males approached him with guns drawn saying "don't (expletive) move."

The victim reports the two men went through his pockets, then realized he had no money, and proceeded to pistol whip him.

The victim reports he fought back, pushing one suspect and then heard multiple gunshots. The suspects then fled on foot.

Castings from two guns (9 and 45) were found at the scene.

The victim was transported to University Hospitals, where he was confined with serious injuries.

The suspects were described as two black males, ages 13-16, both thin and wearing dark clothing and ski masks.
