AUBURN HILLS, MI (WOIO) - The Cavaliers took a 3-0 series lead with a 101-91 win on the road over the Detroit Pistons on Friday. Tony Zarrella gives his final thoughts from The Palace of Auburn Hills.
-This series is playing out the way a 1-vs-8 series should play out. The Pistons have their moments, and hang with the Cavaliers as long as they can, but in the end, the Cavs just have too much firepower and too many options.
-The Big 3 continues to dominate, and while Kyrie once again led the scoring (he now has 79 pts in 3 games), there are other key stats. LeBron only threw down 20 points in Game 3, but he also pulled down 13 rebounds. Kevin Love also had 20 pts, but also
pulled down 12 rebounds.
-Coaches love to talk about second-chance points, so consider this stat: The Cavs had 12 offensive rebounds...and Tristan Thompson accounted for 8 of them.
-LeBron's first-round series run continues. He hasn't lost a first-round game in four years, and haven't lost a first-round series EVER. That's not about to change now. The Cavs will complete the sweep on Sunday.
