AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A six-year-old boy was riding his bike on Lucy Street when he went through a stop sign and collided with a car, police said. The crash happened Monday at 7:50 p.m.

The child, who lives in Tallmadge, was critically injured and transported to Akron Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Police said the child was at fault for the crash, but will not be cited due to his age.

The driver, 24, will be cited for driving on a suspended license. Her car was towed.
