Man sentenced to life in prison for Lake Co. deadly crime spree

LAKE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - An illegal immigrant who went on a violent crime spree in Lake County in July was sentenced to life in prison.

Juan Razo, 36, pleaded guilty in March to going on a deadly crime spree.

According to Lake County prosecutor Charles Coulson, Razo's indictment included the July 27, 2015 aggravated murder of Margaret "Peggy" Kostelnik.

Other charges in the indictment included the rape of Kostelnik, the attempted rape of his 14-year-old niece, the attempted murder of Mary Kable, who was walking on the Greenway Bike Path in Concord, and the attempted murder of Ohio peace officers.
