CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Even Emmanuel Ogbah was surprised that the Cleveland Browns took him with the first pick of the second round on Friday night.
"To be honest, I had no idea," Ogbah told reporters via a conference call. "I didn't have any private workouts or visits so I had no idea that I was going to be a Cleveland Brown."
Ogbah's game is still developing, a scary thought considering the defensive end piled up sacks at Oklahoma State.
"I was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and came to the United States when I was 9 year old. I'm a relentless player and I love to get to the quarterback. That's how I play."
And he picked a pretty good role model to follow.
"When I was younger, I used to watch a lot of (Pro Football Hall of Fame and former New York Giants defensive lineman) Michael Strahan, and I kind of modeled my game after him. He was a relentless pass rusher with speed and power, and those are the combos I usually use when I pass rush."
