CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A body found in an abandoned house in Cleveland is that of missing Garfield Heights woman Natalie Jeanette Perez. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner released her identity Monday.

A group of teenagers found Perez's body in an abandoned house at 3789 E. 143rd Street Saturday around 2 p.m.

Family members had already told Cleveland 19 the body was their 21-year-old relative.

Perez went missing April 6 from the Garfield Heights area.

She was bipolar schizophrenic and had not been taking her medications, according to the family.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has not yet released the cause of death.
