CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Hello, I'm Darby Bentoff-Schwartz, executive director of the Arthritis Foundation.
Did you know arthritis is the nation's No. 1 cause of disability? It's not always something you can see, but more than 50 million Americans have arthritis, including 300,000 children. They're your neighbors, your co-workers and your children's classmates.
In Northeast Ohio, more than 1.3 million people suffer from arthritis. That's enough to fill FirstEnergy Stadium 18 times! The Arthritis Foundation is fighting for a cure and you can help.
We invite you to attend the upcoming Cleveland Walk to Cure Arthritis, presented by Vox Active, and help advance the important work that we are doing to fund research and provide local programs and services free of charge.
The Walk to Cure Arthritis is a 5K walk on Saturday, May 21 at the Cleveland Zoo. Bring the entire family out for a fun-filled day all while raising funds and awareness for arthritis research and support.
Visit arthritis.org/ohio for more information about the event and all that we do.
Thank you for your support.
