CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Johnny Manziel showed up in a Texas courtroom Thursday morning.
The 23-year-old appeared in a Dallas County courtroom Thursday, arraigned on a misdemeanor charge involving domestic violence with his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley.
The former Cleveland Browns turned himself in Wednesday and posted a $1,500 bond.
Conditions of his bond included no contact with Crowley and no firearm possession.
Manziel was indicted by a grand jury last month after Crowley said he hit her so hard in her ear she lost hearing.
He could get up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
His next court date is June 24, 2016.
Manziel was released from the Cleveland Browns in March. So far no team has signed him.
