CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - On Saturday night a child was struck by a bullet in what is being called a drive-by shooting.
It happened on May 7, 2016 in the area of E.66th Street and Superior Ave.
Originally police believed the victim was 9 years old but on Sunday officials confirmed that the boy was in fact 12.
So far the investigation reveals that the child was on the porch with several other people when van drove by and shots were fired.
The victim was driven to Rainbow Babies and Children by his uncle after he suffered a gunshot wound to his knee.
At this time no arrests have been made.
