CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - What kind of effort was that? Only 16 three pointers? For crying out loud, men! Don't tell me you can look at yourselves in the mirror and be proud of that effort!
I can't even type that with a straight face.
I'm still trying to figure out how after three games of being bombarded by the Cavaliers, Atlanta players still found ways to have guys from Cleveland wide open to launch three pointers. What? Love is still open? Sure, fire at will. We'll take it.
Close out games are hard, they're even harder on the road, and give Atlanta credit for not mailing it in. Still, how did the Cavs have guys that open so many times? They hit 77 three pointers in the series, two shy of the NBA record for most three's in a playoff series.
Atlanta actually holds that record, but they needed seven games to get that many. Surely if the series went five, the Cavs would've broken their record. No, I won't stop calling you Shirley.
Who do I want, Miami or Toronto? Ha! Of course we want the Heat! Will we get them? Who knows. We'll find out soon enough. We'll also have spend the next eight days or so talking about whether or not the Cavs are getting rest or rust, a narrative we're getting very familiar with.
