HOUSTON (WOIO) - Corey Kluber struck out the side in the first inning and looked to on his way to having a big night down in Texas, but by the third inning, the Astros had started chipping away, and had the Indians' ace out of the game by the end of the inning, on their way to a 7-1 win at Minute Maid Park.
Jose Altuve drove in the first two runs with a double to left, and Colby Rasmus followed that up later in the inning with a bases-loaded single to bring two more runs home. Kluber lasted just two--and-two thirds innings, to fall to 2-4 on the season.
The lone Tribe run came on Jason Kipnis' fielder's choice in the 6th.
Altuve later added a sacrifice fly in the 6th for his 3rd RBI of the night.
Carlos Gomez closed out the scoring with an RBI single to center in the 8th.
