Trevor Bauer pitched seven shutout innings, and the Indians' bats struck early and late as the Tribe bounced back against the Houston Astros on Tuesday, 4-0 at Minute Maid Park.
Bauer, back in the rotation because of the hamstring injury to Carlos Carrasco, looks like a guy who wants to stay there, striking out seven and giving up only three hits. His teammates also staked him to an early lead, scoring two runs in the second on Juan Uribe's infield single and Lonnie Chisenhall's RBI double.
Francisco Lindor added to the lead with an RBI single in the 8th, bringing Jason Kipnis home, and Mike Napoli followed with an RBI double, scoring LIndor.
The Indians (16-14) have one more in Houston, a Wednesday matinee, before returning home to host the Minnesota Twins on Friday.
