GENEVA, OH (WOIO) - The RNC is bringing its show to town and there are plenty of people trying to get in on the act. The latest is Laurello Vineyards in Geneva.
It is putting out three new wines named CLE 2016. The small winery is an award-winning, handcrafted boutique that's hoping its wines satisfy the taste of local folks and the 50,000 people coming to Cleveland for the Republican National Convention.
Three wines will be a blend: Crisp White (Chardonnay, Viognier), a Dry Red (Syrah, Merlot, Grenache) and a Sweet Pink (Catawba, Vidal). The wines have labels that resemble location decals for vehicle bumpers.
Laurello Winery already has wines on the shelves in some Giant Eagle stores and is being sold in local restaurants including Dante, Lola and other high-end restaurants.
