CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A 4-year-old boy went on an early morning joyride in Cleveland.

Police say the unnamed toddler grabbed the keys to his mother's car off the the coffee table and took off in her car around 7 a.m.

His trip though, was short. Luckily, he only made it as far as across the street.

The vehicle came to rest against the neighbor's fence in the 3000 block of Saratoga Ave. No one was injured -- except for the fence.

Mom didn't know what happened. Police say she was inside at the time and tending to other children, including a newborn.

There was no child endangering report made but officers notified Cuyahoga County Children & Family Services,  per protocol.
