SOUTH EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - A woman held her 3-year-old daughter in her arms when police forced their way into her apartment.
Officers got a call about a disturbance between a woman and her cousin, Yasmeen Mathis around 6:50 p.m. May 10.
When they arrived Mathis had locked herself in her apartment.
Body cam video showed the officers outside the apartment, asking Mathis to come out. They wait several minutes before they forced their way inside with a battering ram.
Mathis was holding the child in her arms.
The child was removed from the suspect's arms and Mathis was arrested. She was booked in the city jail on multiple charges.
