No Eagles, No Problem: Cleveland rocking on with Kid Rock

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Less than one month after Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh canceled his planned July 17 concert in Cleveland after finding out that it had ties to the Republican National Convention, Kid Rock has stepped in.

Rock, and with his incredible Twisted Brown Trucker Band, will wrap up the Republican National Convention by performing for families of veterans as part of the GOP gathering.

The Detroit native and longtime supporter of veterans from all branches of the military, says he's glad to be able to participate in an event that gives back to a group that has given so much to Americans.

The concert is set for July 21st.

The concert will feature gourmet catering, plus an open bar in addition to various VIP enhancements. Beer during the week will be provided by the Ohio Craft Brewers Assn, and Premium Cigar Ass'n Cigar Tent in partnership with Makers Mark.

Cleveland Rocks 2016 is produced by Blue Star Productions, LLC in conjunction with the Green Beret Foundation, The Folded Flag Foundation, The Guardians of Heroes Foundation, OH Fallen Heroes, and ST9, with those charities receiving proceeds from the event.
