CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Most of us have those times when we wonder about how healthy we are. While getting checked out by your doctor is the best way to find out if there is a problem, there are a few things you can do at home to gauge where you stand.
"I think it's a good idea to have some way you can check at home to get a general idea of your health, " said Dr. Mark Meachum, M.D., with the Cleveland Clinic.
He gives a thumbs up to five do-it-at-home tests people are talking about.
"They aren't tremendously specific, but they do indicate if your are in good health or if you need a little help."
The tests range from an interesting stand-sit-stand challenge to drawing a clock face, which might seem simple, but, can be more revealing than you might think.
We put our Jeff Tanchak through all five tests. See how he did, compared to what you can do. Catherine Bosley has the story tonight at 11 p.m. on Cleveland 19.
