CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A Cleveland school student told several students the gummy bear candy she shared with them was laced with marijuana, the school district said.
A parent told the school about the claims. The student at H. Barbara Booker was questioned April 29. She denied the allegation. Some parents wanted their kids tested as a precaution.
The tests came back negative for any presence of marijuana.
The student who distributed the candy and caused unnecessary alarm by falsely making the claims was referred for appropriate discipline.
