Lorain police fight heroin 1 house at a time

LORAIN, OH (WOIO) -

Seven people were arrested when Lorain police raided three homes suspected of being shops for heroin and cocaine trafficking. 

The first search was conducted at 1500 West 44th St. Two people were arrested. Police called the arrests notable because these were mid-level drug dealers. 

Two guns were recovered, over $18,000 in cash, more than 120 grams of heroin and more than 100 grams of cocaine. 

Aaron Ross was charged with trafficking and possession of heroin and cocaine, possession of heroin and cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and weapons under disability.  He is currently being held in the Lorain City Jail.

The second raid was conducted at 3020 Colorado Ave. Five people were inside the home, four were arrested. 

In the home, more than 40 grams of cocaine were located and a small amount of heroin, police said. In addition, numerous items of contraband were located to include items used to prepare, distribute, and ingest both heroin and cocaine.
 
Michael Keith Kincaid III was charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of criminal tools. He is currently being held in the Lorain City Jail. Kimberly McMullen, the home owner, was charged with possession of cocaine and permitting drug abuse.

Andrew Robert Flynn was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing official business.

Renee Michelle Simko was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.

The third search was at 1022 West 10th Street.

Police had been investigating Teresa Wallington for about three weeks after they learned of a cocaine and distribution operation at a home on West 9th Street. Wallington closed up shop and moved to the residence at 1022 West 10th St. 

She was located inside the home. A couple of grams of heroin were located, police said. 

Wallington was charged with trafficking and possession of heroin. 

All three raids were conducted on May 12.
