Northeast Ohio man training for Boomerang World Championship

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Logan Broadbent, 28, qualified to compete at the American Ninja Warrior Regional Finals for Season 8. He stopped by Cleveland 19 News to show off his skills. 

Broadbent is a member of the United States Boomerang Team. He is currently ranked the number one thrower in the country and is the reigning trick catch world champion. He became the youngest member to ever make the US Team when he was 14.

The northeast Ohio native is in training for the Boomerang World Championships in Kiel, Germany taking place this July. Broadbent will be flying to Philadelphia to run the course May 26 and 27.

Broadbent recently had a national PNC Bank commercial air relating to his boomerang throwing and currently works in Cleveland as a global strategic deal manager for GE lighting.
