Police respond to breaking and entering call at Willoughby gas station

WILLOUGHBY, OH (WOIO) -

Willoughby Police are investigating a breaking & entering case that occurred at the Lost Nation Fuel gas station.

Just before 1 a.m. Monday morning, a white male dressed in a dark colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black ski mask smashed the glass front door to the gas station using a crowbar.

After smashing the glass, the suspect went straight to ATM. After realizing the machine was empty, the suspect walked out of the store and got back into his SUV.

Police say he was driving a newer light-colored or white SUV possibly a 2016 Audi Q5.

Nothing was taken from the store. The incident was recorded on video surveillance cameras.
